Wedding Day Rundown

Here is the complete wedding rundown for the beautiful union of Jascinta and Lachlan on November 9, 2025. This schedule captures each meaningful moment of their day — from the first preparations to the final celebration — designed to create a flawless and unforgettable wedding experience.

09:30 – Groomsmen standby in Zone 1

Hey guys!
Please gather at Zone 1 for the Khan Mak Procession — a Thai engagement parade where the groom’s side brings symbolic gifts to the bride’s family.

Each of you will carry a ceremonial tray, such as the main gift tray, banana and sugar cane plants, or food trays. Just hold them nicely and walk together during the parade.

09:59 – Khan Mak Procession

When the ceremony begins, the MC will start the chant — and when he shouts “Oioioioioioioi!”, that’s your cue to respond loudly with “Eeeeeeeeeee!”
It’s a fun and lively tradition, so be energetic and enjoy it!

After the music starts playing, simply dance a little and walk along with the MC and everyone else to Zone 2 — just follow the flow and have fun!

10:19 – Silver and Gold Gates (Bridesmaid Part)

After the Khan Mak Procession, the groom will continue walking toward Zone 2, where he will be stopped by the bridesmaids at what’s called the Silver and Gold Gates — a fun and playful Thai wedding tradition.

At each gate, the bridesmaids will tease or challenge the groom before allowing him to pass. They might ask him funny questions, make him do something silly, or test how much he knows about his bride.

To pass through each gate, the groom must offer a red envelope with money as a symbolic gesture — it represents good fortune, appreciation, and his effort to “win his bride.”

It’s all meant to be lighthearted and entertaining, filled with laughter and joy as the groom makes his way closer to his future wife. Everyone is encouraged to cheer, laugh, and enjoy the moment!

10:39 – Presentation Flower Garlands to the Bride

After the Silver and Gold Gates, once the groom has successfully reached the bride, he will present a pair of Phuang Malai, or traditional Thai flower garlands, to her.

This moment symbolizes respect, love, and the official union of the couple. The act of offering the garlands represents the groom’s heartfelt commitment and his honor in meeting his bride.

The bride will also place a garland around the groom’s neck in return, symbolizing acceptance, mutual love, and blessing for their new life together.

It’s a beautiful and emotional highlight of the ceremony, marking the first moment they stand together as bride and groom before the blessings continue.

10:49 – Family Blessing Ceremony

After the groom meets the bride, both families gather for the Family Blessing Ceremony, known as Kho Khama.

Parents and elders from each side offer their blessings, kind words, and best wishes to the couple. This moment symbolizes the joining of two families and their warm acceptance of the bride and groom as husband and wife.

11:09 – Water Pouring Ceremony

The Water Pouring Ceremony begins with the elders — such as the parents and grandparents of both the bride and groom — who take turns pouring holy water over the couple’s hands while offering blessings and good wishes.

After the family, friends and guests are invited to continue the ritual, sharing their own blessings for love, happiness, and a lasting marriage.

This symbolizes purity, unity, and the flow of good fortune as the couple begins their new life together.
